What is PPC?

PPC is Pay Per Click. You are charged only when a potential customer clicks on your ad. You set a maximum spend per day so you don't overspend.

How much do I need to spend to see results?

We recommend spending between $15-20 a day on your PPC ad, but can do a bare minimum of $10/day, if needed. While there is no minimum ad spend, the less you spend, the less results you'll get. Sure, we could set up an ad with $5/day budget, but it may not even be worth your time running. And we don't want to waste your precious ad dollars. We'd be happy to help set up a Facebook/Instagram ad for you if you have a smaller budget!


Interesting tidbit: The average cost-per-click in the US is between $1-$2.

What is your fee to set up a Google ad?

Most companies charge about 25% of what your ad spend is as their fee. If you spent $500 on your month's ad, you would pay a $125 to set it up.


We feel a flat rate is more affordable and fair. We charge a flat $75 fee per ad. If changes are requested, we may have a slight charge for that. No ongoing fee to monitor for start/stop date ads. If you'd like ongoing ads, $35/mo fee. 

When do I need to pay? 

Google: You'll have a card on file with Google- you will be charged at the end of the time period you set for your ad.

Pinecrest: You'll receive an invoice once your ad is set up, due upon receipt. Or we can charge the card we have on file.

Do I have to have an ad continually running?

Nope. We're happy to get an ad set up during a promotional month or time period- start and stop when you'd like. Or we can set up an ongoing generic offer/info ad!

Are there different types of Google ads?

These are the two we set up most often for small business owners: 

  • Display campaign - Your ad will be shown across Google's vast website partners on their sites. This might be on a YouTube video, at the top of a news network, or on the side of a shopping website.

  • Search campaign - Your ad will appear as text only. Search ads are below shopping campaigns.
