There is a lot that goes into Google ads, below are just a few FAQs.

FAQs

What is PPC?

PPC is Pay-Per-Click. You are charged only when a potential customer clicks on your ad after dong a search for keywords related to your business. You set a maximum spend per day so you don't overspend.

If you need a Google ad account set up, we can do that for you.

Doesn't a Google search do the same things as PPC?

A Google search allows users to locate information on the internet by typing queries into its search engine (free). On the other hand, Google PPC ads is a marketing strategy where advertisers pay a fee each time their advertisement is clicked by a user. PPC ads appear on the search results page, typically at the top, and are an effective way for businesses to gain visibility and attract potential customers. So, while they both involve the Google search engine, they function in distinctly different ways.

How much do I need to spend to see results?

We recommend spending between $10-15 a day on your PPC ad, but can set it up for less. Depends on your budget and how much competition is in your area for your type of business. Most of our clients currently spend $5-10/day or $150-300/mo.

What is your fee to set up a Google ad?

We charge a flat rate of $75 per ad. If changes are requested, we may have a slight charge for that. We have a $60/mo ongoing fee. We'll go in weekly and update keywords- add to your negative keyword list and keyword list depending on search terms (what people are searching for).

How do you decide on keywords?

We have a few sites we can research popular keywords, we also use the Google keyword planner. We look at your website and use keywords on it. Those keywords should also be in the description of each page and headlines (something we set up, too!). Then we add the same keywords to your PPC ad.

For example: If you own a fitness business and offer group classes, you don't want to pay for someone searching "water aerobics." We would make that a negative keyword because they're not looking for what you offer.

Can I use images in my ad?

If it's a new ad account, Google has a 90-day waiting period before we can add images. But in our experience, they don't always make us wait that long. Some are just a few weeks. They want to know you're a verified, reputable business and not spam. So we can get your ad going, add images later.

When do I need to pay?

Google: You'll have a card on file with Google- you will be charged at the end of the time period you set for your ad.

Pinecrest: You'll receive an invoice once your ad is set up, due upon receipt. Or we can charge the card we have on file.

Do I have to have an ad continually running?

Nope. We're happy to get an ad set up during a promotional month or time period- start and stop when you'd like. Or we can set up an ongoing generic offer/info ad.

We offer weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly updating. Our fee is $25 each time we go in. We can pull images from your Facebook page to post or create new content (for an additional fee) or you can send us what you want to post. If you sell products, we'll add those. If you offer services, we'll add those. We'll fill in as much content as we're able! And then keep it busy with new photos, new offers, and new updates.
